My name is David Ishida. I am a level 10 gymnast from
Technique Gymnastics and a senior at Lodi High School in Lodi. One of Lodi High’s graduation requirements is that each senior complete a Senior Project. I have chosen for my senior project, to raise money for a cause that is meaningful to all of us who are involved in the gymnastics community.
It is my honor to announce that I am organizing a fundraiser to benefit the "John and Wesley Nygren Memorial Scholarship Foundation".
We are calling this fundraiser, "WALK FOR WESLEY"
With the support and help of my family, my gym, Technique Gymnastics, my coach, Guard Young, and all of you, we can work together to earn some much needed money to continue to fund this scholarship opportunity.
I can't do it without you! I am asking each gymnast in Northern California to participate in this fundraiser which will be held on National Gymnastics Day at the State Capitol. What an excellent way to showcase the outstanding community we are, and at the same time honor one of our fellow gymnasts who held in his heart, the same thing we all do--the love of gymnastics.
We need YOU to help us continue to fund this scholarship.
